What an amazing Week 1 that we all experienced in the NFL! There was a lot of excitement in the air with Brett Favre’s debut with the New York Jets, Matt Ryan’s rookie debut with the Atlanta Falcons, Tom Brady’s devastating season-ending knee injury and a couple huge rushing games from both Michael Turner and Willie Parker. What was lost in that all was the excellent as well as miserable defensive team play around the NFL. But, that is to be expected.
